🧱 From Our Workshop to Your home

Jaim (J for John, A for Amy, I for Iris & M for Magnus) started with a simple observation. Our son, Magnus, would spend hours on a masterpiece, only for it to sit in the dark on his shelf once the sun went down. We wanted to find a way to bring those creations to life.

As a father, I wanted a design that did three things:

  • Encouraged tactile, active play—giving the bricks they already own a new purpose.

  • Grow with them—matching their changing obsessions from day to day and year to year.

  • Looked like a piece of art, not just a plastic toy, on their bedside table.

After dozens of prototypes and many late nights in our Bath workshop, the Jaim Mood Lamp was born.

Today, every single Jaim lamp base is assembled by us right here in the UK. We are lifelong fans of building blocks, and we believe that as we grow up, we should never forget how to play.
